Customer Question

We have an antique upright grand piano manufactured in the late 1800's. We have an antiques grand piano which we donated it to a historical society. We would like an approximate value for income tax purposes. The keys all worked but some of the ivory tops were loose.
JA: I love the notion of my brother's old guitar having a history and belonging to someone famous. Maybe you have something valuable or historical. Let's find out. Is there anything else important you think the Musical Instrument Appraiser should know?
Customer: We know the age because there is a note from my wife's great grand father which says "Her18th birthday present for my baby girl"

Hi, I can help if you can provide photos and manufacturing info on the piano. Also, be advised your tax preparer may request a more formal appraisal done in person depending on the amount.
