Hello Bonnie,

My name is ***** ***** I'm happy to help.

Has this piano been regularly tuned? Has it had any internal restoration?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Hi Judith
The piano is tuned once a year. It is a black lacquer upright and their has been no internal restorations.

Thanks Bonnie!

Just want to let you know that your piano will need internal restoration pretty soon. The serial number indicates that it was built in 1983 and most pianos 30 years older or more require some sort of restoration inside, as parts wear out and disintegrate.

If it is in very good cosmetic and playing condition, the current retail (replacement or insurance) value of your piano is approximately $4,000. If you were to sell it, you could expect to get the fair market (private sale or auction) value of approximately 40% of the retail amount or $1,600, depending on location and actual condition.

I hope this answer has been helpful to you, Bonnie.
