From the serial number your piano is dated circa 1985. What is the condition of your piano mechanically (internally) and externally, the casework. Has it been regularly tuned and maintained please?

Your Schafer & Sons white 6ft Grand Piano is dated as circa 1985, so your piano is approaching 30 years old.
The Schafer & Sons company was established relatively recently in 1955 in Colton, California. Over the years they have had a number of production relationships, firstly with well known American Piano Companies, followed in the 1970's by arrangements with Far Eastern Piano makers.
From the information I have, the condition as you have confirmed, the age and the current markets, I believe that your Grand Piano has a retail value for a private sale in the $5,000 to $6,500 price range.
