Have a Kingsbury Chicago Cabinet Grand serial # XXXXX Age

Resolved Question:

Thanks for your question. Kingsbury pianos were made by the Cable piano company. The serial number dates this piano to about 1891, assuming it uses a Cable serial number. I don't have one of my books with me right now but will double check the serials when I am able to get it. Cabinet or upright grands were common during this period. Unfortunately due to age the value will be fairly low. Despite how the piano looks, pianos this old that have not been restored are considered to be in fair to poor condition for valuation standards. Based on these items your piano would have an approximate value of $100-$300 depending on your market and the exact condition. I wish you the best!
