hi neo,
i'm reading the excel sheet and trying to locate all the number from annual report.
on the sales column when i look at the 5 years financial summary of walmart the netsale of 2009 is 401087 , the number u are using is 401244 same problem with 2008, and 7. i don't know I'm looking at the right report. i think it would be easier if u can put a note next to the number like ( annual report 2011, p 1,2 or w/e).

Those figures differ due to "prior years adjustment" and it is not really unusual. It happens a lot but since the figure is immaterial, it has insignificant (if not no) impact to the growth rate.

You may opt to compare--

Annual Report 2011, pg 30 and 31

Annual Report 2010, pg 30 and 31

and you will notice a very small variation in figures.
