I have a 2015...

I have a 2015 kaw ninja 300 .I changed the stater or magneto and as I removed the case the gear for engaging the starter fell out just put back .BUT is their a proper timing line up or peremater for the yo fire properly??

I was having generator problem tested components and some were out of their peremater so I replaced from battery to to voltage regulator and still my output was very low so I finished the generator line with starter replacement and in this process as I pulled the cover off the stater cover the sprocket gear that would engage starter fell out without me seeing it and I put it back But Now new stater and my bike runs like it's 180 on timing. Need help

So you replaced the stator the part of the charging system?

And did you replace it with a Kawasaki part?

If you put aftermarket parts in it I would be really Leary of them I’ve had nothing but problems with them and it will drive you crazy because you second guess yourself because they are new but they don’t work the same as factory

they will even check out like brand new and will not make your bike run right

but the only thing other than the flywheel to time it would be the pick up coil and it might be in the wrong place after that it would be cam timing but you did not go that far
