Customer: Actually. Its for my brother. In law. Has some other guy doing work.Im a carb man myself but work on harleys alot. He wants me to look at it. Just trying to find a good place to start looking. Electrical? Fuel? Computer?

For starters how long does the bike stay running for? Does it fire up and die right away, or does it run for a little bit and die?

Was running fine until he replaced head
Ok, sounds like it has lost its password ***** I have seen sometimes when the battery voltage gets too low. When the bike has the incorrect password ***** needs to be plugged into a dealers computer and a Password ***** needs to be done. The bike firing up and dying is trying to start the learn process. You could confirm this by checking the codes. If it has a code for “incorrect password” then that’s the issue.

If that is not the issue, I would check fuel pressure. It was common for those bikes to get a pin hole in the fuel line inside the tank and cause low pressure. Which will cause running issues. Pressure needs to be between 58-62 psi
