Yes . disconnected all after market acc. removed fuses one at a time. isolated all other wires on solenoid .

Initially, let's try check and review the basics. Proposed preliminary tries (if have not been done) and even if just for test purposes:

  • • measure the battery/charging voltage when idling and when attempting to rev;
  • • do a test run with the regulator temporarily removed (battery fully charged prior).

battery charged 12.6 . At idle was 16.5 . At rev 17.6

Appears to be an over-voltage/charging issue with the regulator as the most likely suspect.

Please try again; with the regulator temporarily removed (battery fully charged prior).

Checked it with out regulator 12.5 . remover reg checked diode pos to stator's .466 .465 .461 Neg to stator's .460 .459 .456
