Can you tell me what to torque the bolts on a LS 650 rear sproket belt drive Thanks

NO I do not have the specs and the year is 2014

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your 650 yourself? What have you tried so far?

Yes and the old sproket is damaged and i am trying to replace it and i have not tried to fix it yet

Verified

Rear sprocket pulley torque is about 40 ft/lbs.

Smaller bolts are about 8 ft/lbs

Ideally bolts should be torqued according to their

diameter as this helps in not making the

error of overtightening. Some bolts are marked

with a 4 or 7 on the top. The 7 is a stronger

bolt and can handle more torque.

If the bolts are original then it is safe using specs

listed in the shop manual.

Bolt torques listed by bolt diameters can be found online

if needed.
