Customer Question
Removed stock turn signals...

Removed stock turn signals on my 2006 victory hammer, it all worked fine until I attached a load equalizer on the rear lights. It all worked fine for a minute and then nothing. Headlight and horn work fine, checked fuses and relays and all seem ok??

Mechanic's Assistant: Have you checked the fuses? Have you checked the bulbs?

These are LED's and yes as you can see above I checked fuses

Mechanic's Assistant: What is the model of your '06 motorcycle?

Hammer

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your bike yourself? What have you tried so far?

Fixing my self, I'm at the point of tracing all wires back to headlight

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

I think that's it

My name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I noticed that your question had not received a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.My info is somewhat limited on your model here but I had seen no one else has responded and would like to see if I can help here.If at any time you feel that I cannot help with this please let me know.

I would trace and inspect the wiring for any burns or damage to wiring causing this fault as well as poor grounds. If this is all found to be o.k. I would have the power and ground tested to the lights to see if this is present and if found to be present then the lights themselves may have received a voltage surge damaging them with the lights needing replaced. If this is all found to be o.k. let me know.

If more help is needed, use the reply tab to continue our conversation. If no further assistance is needed, kindly rate my service, your 5-star rating is appreciated ( should be a link to click on here or above). You can rate at any time and we can continue to work on your question as this will not close out your question.Keep in mind in some cases it can be difficult to fully diagnose or help repair your vehicle without seeing it and I work on delivering the best possible answer from what I see to work with.

Thanks Pete
