Customer Question
I have a 2008...

I have a 2008 harley softtial deluxe flstn, the rear rim size is 16m/cxmt3.00, I had the bearing replaced a while back and the new bearing appears to have been spinning in the hub causing metal wear in the hub, the bearing has loosened in the hub

Mechanic's Assistant: What's the make/model/year of your bike?

Harley davidson softtail deluxe flstn 2008

Mechanic's Assistant: What is the model of your '08 motorcycle?

Softtail deluxe flstn

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your bike yourself? What have you tried so far?

I took it to a shop and had a new bearing pressed in they supplied the new bearing and it looks like the bearing has spun in the hub and the bearing has loosened in the hub

you need a new hub.

you can replace the hub in the existing wheel and re-lace it, or purchase a new wheel.

if you decide to replace the hub and re-lace the wheel, make sure you purchase a new set of spokes.

let me know if you need more help.
