No spark, couple of pulls had one or two sparks but not ofter 2005 LT80 Suzuki
JA: What is the model of your '05 Suzuki?
Customer: LT 80 quad
JA: Are you fixing your 80 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yep looking to test coil, but no power to it when I pull start. noe electric start
JA: Is the power loss consistent, or does it fluctuate?
Customer: no power, tried with test light no power at any wire to coil

Initially, let's try check and review the basics. Proposed preliminary tries (if have not been done):

  • • verify good engine and frame ground as well as harness' black/white wires;
  • • carefully test for high pulsating voltage from the magneto's black/red wire to the ignition coil;
  • • ensure kill wire black/yellow is not tied to the ground when attempting to start.
