The PARK brake digital read out is on, but it runs normal

Customer Question

The PARK brake digital read out is on, but it runs normal even when it is on. I have relieved the brake and it works great. I checked the cable to make sure it was on the connector inside the bike and it looks perfect. I have checked he brake fluid and it looks good and topped off. The emergency digital read out, does not want to go out...any clues?
JA: Have you checked the brake fluid? When was it last changed?
Customer: Please read the information.
JA: What is the model/year of your motorcycle?
Customer: 2011
JA: Are you fixing your bike yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Please read the information.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: That is it....I have done as much as I can, to my limitation.

Hi and welcome to JustAnswer, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.
Initially, what bike?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Can Am Bombardier B5BE.....I just got off the phone with the mechcanic and he suggested that it might need to clear the code.
Expert:  Louie replied 2 months ago.

Unfortunately, I don't have the details for clearing the codes on this model.

Offhand, I was inclined to suspect a hardware issue or more particularly, a stuck closed parking brake switch/sensor, brake issues or even loose cable to actuator.

Let me re-open the question by opting opt.

Still, good luck with the Bombardier.
