Battery not charging, yes battery is a gel battery I think

battery not charging
JA: Have you tested the battery with a voltmeter? And can you see if it's leaking or not?
Customer: yes battery is a gel battery I think bullet proof only 1 year old
JA: What is the model/year of your motorcycle?
Customer: xv535 dx 1997
JA: Are you fixing your bike yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: i replaced the regulator rectifier/ regulated had been replaced
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Hello, the first step is to disconnect the stator plug from the regulator assembly. With your volt meter set to ohms place the ground probe to a good engine ground and then with the red probe check each wire going to the stator. There should be no continuity. Let me know what you find and we can work further.
