have a gig bear 400, cleaned carb after sitting in weather, starts and runs ok until just past half throttle then bogs out. seems to flooding carb. unsure what was done to carb prior to this

Customer: yes it runs
JA: What is the model/year of your motorcycle?
Customer: yamaha big bear 400 4x4 early 2000
JA: Are you fixing your bike yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes, have worked on bikes before. cleaned carb,
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: tried adjusting air jet screw ,no difference. maybe slide needle was moved previously?

Sounds like one of the circuits on the carb I still plugged

it runs great at less than half throttle, stalls past that point why , do you have factory settings for air screw and slide needle and jet sizes

There is no stock jet size, they varied from region to region. Was it running fine prior to storage? If yes, then I would assume that the jets are correct. If not, then my answer would be that jetting is not something I can accurately describe the process via message board.
