2007 gsxr 600. Battery was completely fried gauges going

JA: Hello. What is your issue regarding?
Customer: 2007 gsxr 600. Battery was completely fried gauges going crazy. Thought maybe it would drive and made it about 1/4 mile before it shut off. Lights won't come on, nothing. Bought a new battery just now and when they tested it at iron pony they said it was completely toast. No voltage at all. Just put the new battery in and still nothing
JA: Just to clarify, what are the exact lights you're talking about?
Customer: All lights. Gauge lights, headlights nothing
JA: Are you fixing your 600 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Basically off
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Checked fuses and replaced bad battery
