Well like an I thought I was loosening oil drain bolt, but

well like an idiot I thought I was loosening oil drain bolt, but no! a spring and short metal rod w/a plastic tip fell out. I am not sure what order it goes back in! Is it spring, then bolt, plastic tip touching spring, then bolt?
JA: When was your last oil change?
Customer: I completed the oil change!
JA: What is the model/year of your motorcycle?
Customer: Honda Elite 80 made in 2000
JA: Are you fixing your bike yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I think I just need to know the order that the spring and bolt go in.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

It sounds like you may have removed the cam chain tensioner, click on the link below, parts 4,5,6,9,10 are what I believe you are referring to.

Does plastic tip of rod go in first then spring?

Head, rod, spring, washer, bolt.

It should all fit together and slide in place as one assembly.
