Hi and welcome to the site, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.

Initially, have you tried / checked:

  • • drain-clean tank and replace with fresh fuel (even if just to eliminate as a suspect);
  • • feel/hear if fuel pump is priming;
  • • presence & consistency of spark when attempting to start;
  • • battery voltage with ignition OFF, when ON and when attempting to START?
Customer: replied 9 months ago.
full tank. this is my daily driver and its got fuel from filling up yesterday... I'm not sure where the fuel pump is on a bike. I'm sure I can find it though. new to bikes but I will check the battery as well. I'm going to stress test it tomorrow

Yes please and would look forward to an update.

The fuel pump priming can be felt/heard at the tank itself at first turn ON (but not START).

Review the basics (if have not been done) :

  • • re-inspect the battery, its ground lines and/or re-check and re-clean the battery cables + terminals, connectors and wiring ;
  • • more importantly, have the battery externally charged; and
  • • then also have the battery LOAD TESTed (even if new/charged and just for the purpose of eliminating it as a suspect).
