Pulled up to a stop and died and wont start or turn over

pulled up to a stop and died and wont start or turn over ,just replaced the battery , acts like it locked up 2,500 miles
JA: Have you checked the battery, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?
Customer: look good , all light work and bright , never had a problem ,
JA: What is the model/year of your motorcycle?
Customer: 2008 Mutt , the speed o was acting crazy ,bouncing around
JA: Are you fixing your bike yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: replaced battery since I don't ride a lot , couldn't feel any loose connections
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

this could be a symptom of an issue with the charging system.

measure the battery voltage under the following conditions:

- ignition OFF.

- ignition ON.

- with the tart button depressed.

Thanks, ***** ***** the new battery and exchange it for another one and it fired right up, old new battery was bad .
