Hi, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.

Initially, a little more background info please:

  • • has it been in storage for a length of time;
  • • is this a sudden recent issue;
  • • or slowly developing while in use;
  • • any recent work, repairs or mods done other than the "...New battery and new starer syliniod...".

Still, proposed preliminary checks (if have not been done):

  • • re-tighten all connections;
  • • re-inspect the battery, its ground lines and/or re-check and re-clean the battery cables + terminals, connectors and wiring ;
  • • more importantly, have the battery externally charged; and
  • • then also have the battery LOAD TESTed (even if new/charged and just for the purpose of eliminating it as a suspect).

I ride it every 2 to 3 weeks . Checked all teminals battery charged and tested .
If i jump it its stars up. It acts like the batterty isn't chaging during use

I understand.

Proposed secondary checks (also if have not been tried), measure the battery voltage:

  • - ignition Off [12.8V];
  • - ignition On [~12.3V];
  • - starting [~11.0];
  • - idling [12.9V]; and
  • * @ 5000 RPM [~14.0V]. This is very significant as it would indicate potential charging issue(s).
