JA: Have you tested the battery with a voltmeter? And can you see if it's leaking or not?
Customer: no i haven't, the battery is not leaking
JA: What is the model of your '07 motorcycle?
Customer: sportsman 500cc
JA: Are you fixing your bike yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I was going to try to, I talked with polaris and they said it was one or two things that would have to see it to be sure and get the right part as one part was 500.00 ant the other was 600.00 not to mention the labor

Hello, the polaris branded parts for this have a huge mark up. You can get them for less than 150 aftermarket. Them being the stator and voltage regulator. I suggest replacing them as a pair. You would do well to have an independant shop fix it. Here's a link to the stator and regulator.
