I have a 2007 yamaha vstar 650 that I pulled the carbs off

I have a 2007 yamaha vstar 650 that I pulled the carbs off of dismantled and cleaned them. After going back together and installing everything per service manual, I turn on the key and attempt to start. Fuel pumps out of vent line. Halp.

Hi Doug, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.

Initially, re-check the float height? ...and the float needle valve.

Ensure that the float needle valve and seat free of foreign matter and seals off fuel entry with the floated height adjusted correctly.
