sportster 2000 (16,000 km run ) sat in garage for ten years but now have to relocate.
JA: What is the model of your '00 motorcycle?
Customer: 2000
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: if I buy new battery change oil and fuel can I get the bike started or do I need send to motor bkre mechanic
JA: Have you changed a battery before?
Customer: yes
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: my main concern that the bike häs not been turned over for such a long period 10 years are there any complications.what is a step by step plan

Hello, there are several things that will need to be done to bring it back into service.

1. Change all fluids

2. Replace rubber brake lines

3. Replace tires

4.remove and clean fuel tank

5. Rebuild carburetor

6. Change fork seals

All the above will bring it up to safe operational condition.
