i have 1987 Honda 350 foreman Been setting in barn 8 years fixed wiring problem started up but would fire sometimes then quit changed CDI Fixed the firing Prob started putting it back together when i put the breather on i cranked it it started missing and popped a couple times would not start after that would try but would not start i checked timing chain very lose tensioner no ajust left changed chain double checked timing sevral times getting good fire and gas will not run somtimes will pop a little fire at carb lost need help

Hello, it's very possible that when the chain was loosed it had enough movement for the piston to hit a valve. Check your compression and valve lash and let me know what you find.
