Harley sometimes will not start after it has been running

Customer Question

Harley sometimes will not start after it has been running for a while and then shut down. Try to start it ...nothing. After 4-5 times it will start.
JA: Does the engine turn over? How old is the battery?
Customer: Brought it into dealership, they can't find anything
JA: What is the model/year of your motorcycle?
Customer: 2014 Heritage softtail
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Rode it into dealership. They start it ever time. I believe it might act up after running for a period.

when the engine won't start, does the starter turn the engine over?

tell me everything you can.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
when starter does not respond, engine does not turn over. It's as if there is not power, lights come on but nothing kicks over, no sound , almost like no electricty

if it were me I would start by replacing the battery in the security FOB and ensure it is in the presence of the bike when attempting to start.
