Customer Question

Hi there my problem is that my flasher indicator lights are always on the dash
JA: Do you have the trouble code? Do you have a code reader or scan tool?
Customer: No
JA: Not a problem. You can work with the Mechanic to figure that out. What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: 1983 Honda shadow vt750
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I put new lights on and I followed the blueprint then I tried with out the power wire and it works but when I connect the power wire the flasher lights up and so does the indicator
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: The lights are led
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Hi and welcome to JustAnswer,

Thank you for the question and your patience. Should you still need assistance for information purposes only...

Initially, which LED turn signal lights please?

Still, proposed preliminary tries (if have not been done):

  • • re-check the wiring where;
  • - orange for the left turn signal wire;
  • - light/blue for the right turn signal wire; and
  • - green for the ground wire;
  • replace the winker (flasher) relay with an electronic version similar to the product shown HERE.
