1996 heritage classic speedo not working and auto cancel for turn signal not working. The end of the starter is ontop of speed sensor.How do you replce sensor

the speed sensor can be removed without removing the starter.

I don't know of any starter design that prohibits removal of the sensor.

but, in the case where your starter is actually touching the sensor, which I have never seen, you will have to remove the starter to replace the speed sensor.
