Is it ok to mix synthetic Arctic Cat 2stroke oil and mineral

Customer Question

Is it ok to mix synthetic Arctic Cat 2stroke oil and mineral based 2stroke Arctic Cat oil?

I would not risk it. The risk far outweighs the rewards. Use one or the other, but don't take a chance on mixing. Even if you have to throw one away, it will cost you less than an engine rebuild.

Manufacturers typically do not test and endorse mixing oil products because it is such an uncontrolled experiment. Play it safe and stick with one.
