1984 Honda magna 700 clutch issues: My clutch lever is as

Customer Question

1984 Honda magna 700 clutch issues:
My clutch lever is as hard as my brake lever.
My clutch was going soft after 10 or so minutes of riding, so I rebuilt the slave and master cylinders, and bled the system. Now, it seems the slave is not pushing the pushrod. With the slave off, I confirmed that the slave cylinder piston moves outward when the lever is pulled, but with the slave reinstalled, the lever stops halfway and is rock hard. Please help!

There is a plastic spacer that mounts between the slave cylinder and the cover. You did not loose it when you disassembled it did you?

No sir. Turns out, I installed the slave cylinder piston backwards in the cylinder. I got it fixed up and operating correctly. Thank you for your attention and print response sir.

Glad to hear you fixed it.
