How do I remove the bulb socket on the rear turn signal on

Customer Question

How do I remove the bulb socket on the rear turn signal on my 2014 Heritage?

That socket isn't (technically) removable. It is pressed in and retained by a retaining grove molded into it that mates with the aluminum housing. The parts breakdown does show each individual part inside the housing but the replacement is only available as a complete assembly.

Is there another reason you are trying to remove that socket other than just replacing a broken one? There may be other options available if I know the entire story.

Thanks, P.J.
