I'm running a complete Ultima drivetrain chopper. Ultima engine/primary/gearbox.
When I operate the clutch, the clutch basket moves outboard about one eighth inch, moving back inboard when clutch is released.
This is making the clutch marginal
Any ideas what to look for when I disassemble?

Check the snap ring behind the basket as well as go ahead and replace the bearing. Torque it back down to 65ft-lb and use red loctite on threads and you should be good. The beaaring is what fails most often causing this but I have seen the snap ring behind the basket snap.
