Thank you for the question and your patience. Should you still need assistance for information purposes only...

Initially, proposed preliminary check (if have not been done) would be on the kill wire of the CDI unit. In most versions of the CDI, this would be a black wire that feeds both the RUN and ignition switches. When tied to ground, the CDI will not fire the ignition coil

All other checks would be with the use of a multi-meter.

Please post back results / observations of the above once tried.
