Hi
Welcome to JustAnswer

Do I understand you correctly?

You have been told to alter the ignition timing to 32degrees BTDC?

Were you told to alter the ignition module with a PC?

This may have to be done phjysically instead

Hello, thunderheart may have said they did not make the module but their software and cable will work with it. You'll need this kit

http://www.wildsteedworx.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1236

You'll also need this adapter for the cable to use in your usb port on your computer.

The above will allow you to adjust the base timing to a less advanced setting which is what's causing your overheating problem.

Here's how the software is used.

If you have any questions just reply back. If not, please take a moment to rate my service. Thanks!
