i have a 2004 polaris ranger 6x6, it is not charging the battery. i tested the rectifier under ther hood behind the glove box. two wires are yellow/red and one is yellow, one red and one brown. two of the yellow wires tested at 16-17Vac one tested at 27-30Vac and that is at approximately 2000-2500rpm

Initially, the standard stator wires are 3 yellows. More importantly, any pairing of a yellow-to-yellow wire should produce nearly 50VAC when revved. If a pairing would show differently, then the stator would have to be replaced.
