04 road king backfiring throught intake replaced intake seals still doing it compresstion test fine 170 both cylinders help

the "cough" from the intake is a LEAN should check the replaced intake seals by spraying CARB CLEANER on the seals with the engine at will know right away if the seals are good or not.- if you have no intake leaks.....the cause of the lean mis-fire is a lean air/fuel mixture.- if that is the case, you will have to rich up the air/fuel mixture to solve the problem.- if the bike is fuel injected, you will have to rich up the fuel map.- if the bike is carbureted, you will have to correct the problem with the carb.......if the engine used to run good, then the issue may be the carburetor needs cleaning. the problem may also be incorrect jetting if the motorcycle was moved from a higher altitude to a lower altitude. let me know if you need more helpSteve

How do you go about inriching the map\fuel sencer on fuel injection?
