i have a1977 flh wich was caught up in a flood finally got it running.i =started the bike and oilshoots out the oil tank

the oil tank is overfilled. remove however much oil you added to top it off, start and run the engine until the oil is at operating temperature, then check the oil level HOT.set the oil at normal level while HOT. let me know if you need more help.Stteve
