By chance what year is your 1300? And have you located and verified the main fuse is still good?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
All the fuses are good even the flat bar fuse on the battery

Did your bike have the Ground joint repair done on it?
It involved pulling the seats and tanks off, air box
etc and repairing some wiring joints gone bad.
The symptoms were no dash lights and possible
overheating or short circuits.
This was a recall issued by Honda.
Let me know if you have more info on the problem.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Since I'm not tool ready, I'll take it to a dealer

Okay, but let me know if you need any more info.

Just needed a new battery, although the old battery was11yrs old, it finally did not have enough power to turn anything on
Expert:  Wayne S. replied 2 years ago.
That is very old for a motorcycle battery,
some only last a few years at best.
At least you got it going again.
Good luck riding.
If you do not want to pay you can just ignore
the emails and the question will eventually time
out or maybe there is a button somewhere to close
