I have an 85 v65 and the turn signals and hand brake light

Customer Question

I have an 85 v65 and the turn signals and hand brake light do not work. The foot brake works fine. Any ideas?

Check the number 3 fuse as it may have some affect
on front brake light at least and possibly signals.
Use a test light or multimeter to make sure
power is getting across the fuse.
Brake switch could be faulty but check the fuse first.
Get back to me with any info and I will look further
at some wiring diagrams.

All the fuses are good.

If you have a multimeter you can check the operation
of the front brake switch when disconnected.
It should have continuity when lever is pulled
and not otherwise.
Check if the switch has battery voltage
on the white/green wire which goes
through the switch when the lever is pulled
to the green/yellow wire.
We will deal with the signals after this in case
they are related. And does your horn work?

I'm not as concerned about the hand brake since the front brake light works fine. My biggest issue is the turn signals and the gauges. I replaced the fuse box and no change.
