My bike turned over before then I replaced the clutch cable

Customer Question

my bike turned over before then I replaced the clutch cable and took apart the headlight that isn't working and now it does nothing when I turn the key, checked fuses battery full and well connected, never had this issue before...could the starter relay have fried? I did a visual inspection of the wiring to the starter switch all looks fine...I'm frustrated.

I can help you locate the problem if you can make some electrical measurements for me.first, we start with the basics:measure the battery voltage under the following conditions.- ignition OFF- ignition ON- with the start button depressed. let me know what you find.we can continue then.Steve
