How to remove the speedometer gear from front hub on 1964 Cushman

Customer Question

How to remove the speedometer gear from front hub on 1964 Cushman silver eagle?

the best I can remember is there are 4 set screws. Then the gear itself
is pressed on the hub. It may be hard to remove without breaking
the gear though. Do you have to remove it?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Thanks for asking if I needed to remove it. That made me look closer, it had been painted so looked like the wheel center was close to hub and wouldn't come off without removing it. So lesson learned for me, thank you very much, great help
