2004 sportsman ho....i put battery cables on backwards..popped..hooked

2004 sportsman ho....i put battery cables on backwards and something popped in front of 4wheeler and smelled wire burn. where do i start to find problem. hooked battery up right and got no power to anything, all is dead but battery is charged.

Follow the positive battery wire to the starter solinoid, i believe your main fuse is on the solinod, but i will double check now. brb

Follow the smaller of the two, it feeds the fueses

Check them all, though likely it is only the main blown

Yes, it likely smoked some as well. Smell the component, when they fry you can smell they. Smells like burning
