When dose it back fire on acceleration or decal?

Is their any performance parts for the motor?

Ask Your Own Motorcycle Question
Customer reply replied 8 years ago
on acceleration
Motorcycle Mechanic: Jeff Policky, Motorcycle Mechanic replied 8 years ago

a couple of things come to my mind are valves that are bad or miss adjusted.

Carb that needs to be serviced cleaned and synchronized.

How does the unit run at idle a little rough, ok or so smooth that you don't even know it is running?

Ask Your Own Motorcycle Question
Customer reply replied 8 years ago
it runs ok but a little slow , it shows up when I pull the throttle and hold it
Motorcycle Mechanic: Jeff Policky, Motorcycle Mechanic replied 8 years ago

it back fires when the throttle is held open?

what position is the throttle at wide open, 1/2 or 1/4 throttle?

Ask Your Own Motorcycle Question
Customer reply replied 8 years ago
i have put cobra slip on pipes, and had the carbs jetted
Customer reply replied 8 years ago
1/4 throttle seems to get worst as I go to 1/2 throttle
Motorcycle Mechanic: Jeff Policky, Motorcycle Mechanic replied 8 years ago

the jetting could be off or the carb passage are plugged

has the unit been setting for a while?

Ask Your Own Motorcycle Question
Customer reply replied 8 years ago
Not really, I have been using it, It seem to just started with the problem, I did have this problem once before and the service guy said it was a plastic ring that broke, it's all that i can remember, that happened about 2 years ago!
Motorcycle Mechanic: Jeff Policky, Motorcycle Mechanic replied 8 years ago

Was plastic ring in the carb?

Ask Your Own Motorcycle Question
