Hi, I'm Ron and I will be helping you today.
Stand by for a moment while I prepare your answer.

Expert:  rpmdiag replied 10 months ago.

It sounds like you have a blown head gasket. You need to do a compression/cylinder leak down test to see qhat cylinders are being affected.

Thanks, Ron

why wont it stay idling
Expert:  rpmdiag replied 10 months ago.

Too much coolant is getting into the cylinders and starving it for fuel.

Thanks again and please remember to rate me 5 stars and keep this link in case you need me again later on.

how do i do a compression/cylinder leak down test to see what cylinders and when I'm done can I seal the head gasket
Expert:  rpmdiag replied 10 months ago.

Most parts stores will loan a compression gauge to you for a deposit and tell how to operate it as well as give you the compression specs .NO, you can't seal it, it would need to be replaced.

Our goal here is to assist you in the repair of your vehicle by
supplying you with well educated information. We may not always
have the exact fix you wanted to hear, but our job is to get you on
the right track, which we always do. We can’t hear, see, smell or
touch your vehicle from where we’re at, so your understanding of
that is greatly appreciated. There are no magical or miraculous
answers, but we do our best to guide you in the right direction.

Thanks again.
