Customer Question

I installed a new ignition lock cylinder. The dealership programmed the keys to work in the ignition but they don't work on the doors. How do I fix that problem?
JA: Is the key stripped or worn?
Customer: The old one, yes.
JA: What is the model/year of your Mitsubishi?
Customer: 2004 Outlander
JA: Are you fixing your Outlander yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes. I haven't. Always best to research the problem before messing with parts and pieces. I need the new ignition keys to work on the doors. Do the locks need to be redone?
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no thanks
