Is vehicle setting any diagnostic codes?

This would most likely mean timing is off, wiring between PCM and ignition coil, or PCM has failed. I'd start by checking timing marks, if good check resistance on wiring between PCM and coil to verify there are no open circuits. If both are good then replace the PCM. Here is a wiring diagram to help with testing, let me know if you have more questions. Thanks.-

whats a pcm? how would the timing be off if it has been sitting for years?
Expert:  Dan replied 1 year ago.
Timing may have jumped when vehicle was started, timing belt should be replaced every 6 years even if it isn't being used. The PCM is the Powertrain Control Module which is the main engine computer. The crankshaft position sensor sends signal to the PCM, then the PCM fires the coil. Let me know if you have more questions, thanks.

power transistor unit

It has a capacitor for ignition system but that wouldn't cause the lack of spark on 2 cylinders. Let me know if you have more questions, thanks.
