To input the code use the following factory instructions:

Note that this is meant to be performed with a dummy key... if you are using a transponder key that is either not-yet-programmed or has lost programming, you will need to shield the RF signal from the key. A few wraps of aluminum foil will shield the signal and allow the over ride to work. If the system reads an RF signal from the key it will -not- allow the over ride to work.
Be very steady/patient with inputting the code. It can be very frustrating sometimes as it is very particular about timing. If you take too long between steps or suddenly go very quickly past one step, it -will- cause a problem. Just get a nice rhythm going and keep it steady and you will be fine with persistence.
