Mitsubishi Montero Sport LS 4x2: I have a 2001 Montero Sport.

Customer Question

I have a 2001 Montero Sport. This has 125,000K miles on it. While driving the ABS break light came on, then the SRS light, then the radio stopped working. I arrived at my destination (approx 3 miles), let the car sit for an hour. I had someone follow me home, just in case. When re-starting the car, there were no dummy loghts on, and the radio worked. However, after driving about 5 blocks, again, the same thing happened with the dummy lights and the radio. There were no unusual noises or brake failure. Have you experienced this previously?

Do you have a test meter you can use to check the battery voltage while this problem is occurring?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I believe I replied yesterday. No, I do not have a test meter. I will be taking my car in today and have it hooked up to a computer to see what's wrong with it.

I'm sorry I never received any response yesterday, perhaps the site had a hiccup.
A computer scan is not a bad idea, but I would really like to see the operating voltage too... both when working normally and when the problem occurs. It really sounds like we will see a deviation there.
