What you are describing, if you were separated early, you should have received a separation certificate (the 256 form). You can request a copy of this document here

Now...MOST reservist benefits are tied to either completing the contract OR being called to duty for "activation" and serving the entire contract...if you did the latter (so you were called to duty for deployment or contingency) and served the entire time? You would get a DD214 and that is all you need,
