Is the advice I ask for free? In 2011 my husband was
In 2011 my husband was discharged from Navy Boot Camp with an RE8 Code and Separation Code JDA. He was only at bootcamp for 21 days. He went into bootcamp with the paygrade E1. The reason for his separation is that he had gotten sick at bootcamp and was sent to have it checked out. His medical records were then pulled up showing back when he was 12-13 he was (for a few days) sent to a psychiatric hospital where he was not diagnosed with anything. He thought about the Air Force. Because of the codes would he not be able to become a police officer? Because he did not serve 180 days is this considered prior service and would this make any difference? … read more
