I am a chiropractic student and would like to work treating

Customer Question

I am a chiropractic student and would like to work treating veterans at the VA however I failed urinalysis in the military in 2000 due to bodybuilding supplements I was taking so my background check comes up as criminal drug offenses amphetamine use. This is rediculous and needs to be removed from my record. I was never charged. I have an honorable discharge. This is keeping me from getting my liscense to treat patients.

What did you test positive for? What supplement were you taking?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Amphetamines. I was taking Ripped Fuel and Thermadrene that I got from the GNC on base. For energy to workout. Both are now off the market.

How does this appear in your record? Were you given NJP?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Arrest Agency: US Army Fort Belvoir
Charges: "Wrongful Use of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine"
Date: 12-1-00
I was never arrested. I was fingerprinted and pictures were taken of me and my tattoos, that was it. Never recieved any punishment. I received an honorable discharge in 2004. How do I get this removed from my background check? I can't get a license to practice medicine.

Agency Case Number ***** is included in my charges

It sounds like you might have been arrested; you were fingerprinted, photographed, and charge with unlawful use.

How was this disposed of? How was everything resolved?
